Norva24 has acquired the MAYER Kanalmanagement group.

MAYER Kanalmanagement is a major operator in the field of sewer technology and maintenance of underground infrastructure. MAYER Kanalmanagement is headquartered in Rüdersdorf near Berlin and has operations in the Greater Berlin area as well as Schwarzenbek and Nauen. The group includes KRÜGER Wasserhochdrucktechnik GmbH in Neuenhagen. The acquisition significantly strengthens Norva24’s position in the highly fragmented underground infrastructure maintenance market in Germany.

MAYER Kanalmanagement has 40 years of experience in the industry and generated sales of approximately €10 million in 2020. The group offers the full range of sewer technology services, including sewer and pipe cleaning, TV inspection, pressure testing, relining and separation services. In addition, KRÜGER is very well positioned in the field of ultrahigh-pressure water technology in the ranges up to 3.000 bar. The group has approximately 100 employees and operates 60 vehicles.

“We are very pleased to welcome MAYER Kanalmanagement to Norva24. This is an important milestone in our vision to become the clear market leader in the maintenance of underground infrastructure in Europe. We intend to continue to strengthen our position through both acquisitions and organic grows “, says Henrik Damgaard, CEO of Norva24 Group.

“We want to become the market leader in Germany and now have a strong foothold in the Berlin/Brandenburg metropolitan region with the professionals from MAYER” says Dr. Bertolt Gärtner, CEO of Norva24 in Germany.

Carsten Christ will stay on as Managing Director and will continue to develop the company further. “I am pleased to have Norva24 in the company since Norva24 is well respected, has very high competences and focus at the same industry as MAYER.”

Philipp Palaske will remain at his side as Co-Managing Director.

The terms of the contract are not disclosed.
